Watching the US version of Being Human after watching the UK version. Was not impressed til the werewolf said that he thinks he might eat his own poo. THAT is funny, may have to give it a chance now
Should be dead asleep by now. But watched some Doctor Who with Sandy. Now, 2 episodes later I’m about to lay down
went on a boat tour around the Sarasota area today. Went by Brian Johnson’s house (yes AC/DC Brian Johnson) He is one of the 3% of people that live in that area year around. I looked, no he didn’t come out. Biggest surprise, his house has pink trim
Hmm, Matt Smith, Christina Hendricks, & Eva Mendes, yea, I think I will be watching this
Matt Smith to star in Ryan Gosling pic
via Variety:
“Doctor Who” star Matt Smith is ready to cross the Atlantic to make his U.S. acting debut, taking the male lead in the Ryan Gosling-directed pic “How to Catch a Monster.”
Pic currently stars Christina Hendricks and Eva Mendes, and will mark Gosling’s directing debut.
Marc Platt and Adam Siegel will produce on behalf of Marc Platt Prods., along with Gosling via his Phantasma Films banner, and Michel Litvak and David Lancaster via the Bold Films banner.
Story is set against the surreal dreamscape of a vanishing city and centered on a single mother of two being swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town. Production is set to start this spring.
The UTA and Troika-epped Smith has starred in a handful of BBC and British productions but never a stateside movie.
His third season of playing the Doctor recently wrapped and he also recently directed the short film “Cargese” for Sky Arts series Playhouse Presents.
The ‘Shut Up And Take My Money’ Doctor Who Link Of The Day: Doctor Who Dalek R/C Watch
Your phone tells you the time, so it’s time for your watch to evolve into something cooler. Why not a Dalek controller? After all, if you’re going to implement your nefarious plan to take over the world, you’re going to need a couple dozen Dalek to exterminate all of your foes in a timely fashion.
This blue LCD watch comes with a remote controlled blue Dalek. Use the buttons on the watch to drive the Dalek around and exterminate tiny things. The Dalek can attach to the watchband or hang from your keychain when not in use, but seriously, this little monster is going to get a lot of use, so you probably won’t need to bother with storing it!
Product Specifications

WATCH!!!!!
I really don’t want to do anything today. Right now I am staring at orders, but deciding whether I am going to start watching Being Human, or re-watch Doctor Who
Today is going to be a good day! Woke up, sleepy as always. Thinking about what’s coming today with work, daily grind, etc, then looked and saw I was reblogged last night on Tumblr by the official Doctor Who page. All is good. Good things will happen today.
How do I know that I REALLY want to do voice acting, and not just think it’s cool? My goals have nothing to do with money. I’m not doing this because I want to be immensely rich. OK, I’m not going to turn down money, butyaknow.
I’m doing this because 1, fun. I love stuff like this. Acting like a moron. And if I can be a moron and pay a couple bills, WOO HOO!
Here are some of my goals. I’m sure these will be added to over time, but here are the ones starting out. They are the top end ones. Want to work on one or many Cartoon Network shows. Again, not because of money, but because I want my grandkids to be watching cartoons and suddenly yell “THAT’S GRAMPA!” (that is how it is supposed to be spelled & pronounced in my family BTW, not grandpa)
Want to work on Robot Chicken. They have freaking every cool star on that show. Just bare bones odds I’ll be on the same show as someone awesome are pretty good.
People I want to work with: Mark Hammel. Come on, the man is Luke Skywalker AND the Joker, how cool is that! Clancey Brown. WOW the voice! Plus he is The Kurgan on Highlander. Tons of cool other parts in comic book cartoons. Oh yea, and a little part you may have heard of. Mr Krabs. Luke Perry. No, nothing to do with 90210. Think I saw him on there twice. Not my cup of tea. BUT he’s from a few miles from where I am from, has been in the business a long time, has worked with some really cool people, and I am sure has some pretty cool stories.
There are tons more people I want to work with, and places I want to work for. But for now, those are the top of the list. That and I am actually supposed to be working. Or at least pretending like it. So back to making pretty pictures to sell beer.
